On 21 August 2025, Burera District announced the formation of Muhabura SACCO Burera through the merger of 17 sector SACCOs. The founding general assembly took place in Kagogo Sector.
The district announcement identified Rusumo trading centre in Butaro Sector as the planned headquarters. Confirm the current location and opening hours before travelling.
